Governments license both home daycares and daycare facilities, making sure that health and safety standards are met.
Riverside is the most populated city within the area commonly referred to as "The Inland Empire" and is the county seat of Riverside County. The city is home to the University of California Riverside, a number of regional hospitals and the Goodrich Tire Company. Although Riverside was once a small town known for its location on Route 66, the city today has a diverse economy and a largely suburban feel.
